Almost 60 years ago, a group of dedicated Enfield residents felt the best way to protect the lives and property in the community was to establish a fire company. While firefighting techniques and equipment have drastically changed since then, the heart of the fire department is still the many good people who volunteer their personal time to serve their neighborhood. Today we respond to a wide variety of calls in the community, such as fires, medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, electrical wires down, carbon monoxide problems and many others, as well as running an aggressive Public Education program.
